Up For Sale is a rare and unique vintage Travel Decal, featuring the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Made by the Duro Decal Co., it appears to be from the very early 1950s. Condition is very good, despite very minor texture imperfections, very minor curling around the edges, and minor creasing. Despite these imperfections and being a little off-centered, it is a real beauty for its age.

Due to the age of this particular decal (pre-late 1950s) it is recommended it be used for a collection, instead of application.

It comes in a vintage glassine (similar to wax paper) bag.

Common Terms

In describing decals I use certains terms. Since a couple terms I use may be unfamiliar, I've described them in greater detail below.

Texture spotting:

Texture spotting is normal with vintage decals. It usually appears as small, dotted, and clear or very faintly white colored marks that appear differently from the remainder of the decal. Typically texture spotting is more visible under close inspection and light and does not take much away from the overall visual appeal of the decal. I typically do not sell decals with heavy amounts of texture spotting , and if I do I'll make note of it.

Localized creasing:

Creases that are sustained to one particular area and are no more than 3/4" across.

Shipping and Payment

Auctions are typically listed Monday through Thursday (U.S. Time) and you may purchase as many decals as you'd like during the week and still pay the same flat rate shipping price with combined shipping. The cutoff date for the combined shipping and free shipping discount is every Thursday evening (U.S. time). For example, if you purchase decals Thursday of one week and again on Monday the following week, the discounts do not apply. However, if you purchase decals Monday and Thursday of the same week, the shipping discounts apply.

Decals are typically shipped within one business day of received and cleared payment.

Payment or payment notification is expected within 7 days of auction ending time.
