Description: This auction is for an awesome looking vintage 1950's studded leather belt. This unusual belt is made of black leather which could very well be horsehide. It's got loads of style and is wonderfully adorned with 17 brass studs, 2 silver studs, 59 copper rivets and has 25 red jeweled studs. The jeweled studs have brass casings and are made of faceted red plastic. Just click on the pictures to enlarge and view the details.T are seven leather pouches which are elasticized and are ornately decorated with red jeweled studs. These compartments may have been used to hold speedloaders (speed re-loaders) for something like a .38 Special or .357 revolver. They're very cool looking and add a lot of character to the belt. They could of course be used to hold a variety of small objects. Other features include a jeweled hanging tassel and two metal clips with fancy silver studs.T's a large double pronged silver buckle and the belt has seven adjusting positions. The holes are reinforced with red metal grommets. This belt is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. All of the studs are intact and present. T are no missing studs and no missing jeweled studs. The elastic sections of the pouches do show some wear but are still sturdy and stretchy with no loss of bounciness. The belt measures 43 1/2" end to end and measures 2 1/4 read more
