Up for auction is a 50's vintage wooden power boat model with it's original box.It was made in Japan as the trade mark on the box indicates.The boais in excellent condition. I don't think there are any parts missing.The paint is in superb condition with a few scratches on the red bottom.The brass propeller is clean as is the rudder and turns freely.The toy can be disassembled to reveal the motor and so you can place the two D batteries that run the motar.Please look at the photos carefully as they say more abuot the condition of the boat.I believe it is in ecceptional condition.The wood color is cream and maroon with light bloe sides and red bottom.The is some green pinstriping also.The boat is 13" long,4"high,and 4.5"across the bow.Excuse the poor nautical language.On the toy are metal(probably nickle)cleats,a working light,metal railings and bow ornament.The original box is also in very good condition with some age darkening and bending on the edges.It has a great pictoral top and the anchor trademark and reads made in Japan.top and side.Please check photos.This is a super vintage model in great condition.Enjoy the auction.
