VINTAGE ITALIAN GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER First, let me tell you that this chandelier looks a thousand times better then my pictures show. It is gorgeous and a real show stopper! It is also a bear to photograph! This chandelier has 5 twisted swirled arms with crystal bobeches and detailed designs on each. Each bobeche hold 4 crystals (1 aqua turquoise 3" prism teardrop with attached octagon, 1 chartreuse green crystal teardrop with attached octagon and 2 clear crystal French pendalogue 3 1/2" crystal). Light sockets appear recently replaced and use standard candelabra sized bulbs. Each socket or candle holder has a white plain drip sleeve. This chandelier has the traditional French Italian style of the epergne florals. T are 5 large curled glass canes. Each cane holds a glass ring that attached to a huge (3 3/4-4" diameter) crystal glass flower. Flowers are clear crystal with swirls of aqua blue highlights and are gorgeous! Each flower has a strand of three crystal octagons and a French pendalogue attached that hangs from the center of each! I have never seen such a beautiful set-up on a chandelier before! This may have been done by the designer that owned this previously and it could be original. It is stunning to say the very least! T are also 10 strands of crystal octagons attached and these strands hold 2 green chartreuse and one clear crystal teardrop prism. Measurements: approx. 24" wide and 21" tall. All vintage chandeliers sold "as is" so bid and ask questions accordingly. The only flaws that I saw were as follows. One bobesche appears to have been broken or cracked but has been repaired and is not noticed. One crystal ring was missing so I found and acrylic sheet and cut a duplicate that blends unnoticed until a crystal replacement can be found. You do not notice these at all, but I wanted to point them out. This fixture could use a good cleaning and it will sparkle like crazy. It is truely beautiful and I don't think you will be disappointed in the least. This is one unique and awsome chandelier for anyone wanting the flash and sparkle of crystal and elegance but who appreciates a nice shot of bold color in the turquoise and chartreuse! This would be fabulous hung in an upscale beach condo or among colorful artwork! I do have a very low reserve on this, but it is worth far more than the reserve I have!
