Vintage 1968 NFL Bobble HeadThis is from the 1968-1972 Gold Base Merger SeriesNew York Jets Item Description Bobble Is marked with Gold Sticker on Bottom Of Base, Sports Specialties. This is from the 1968-1972 Gold Base Merger Series, at least I believe it to be if I did my research right. It could be from the 1965 series but I doubt it. This is one of three I will be listing the others being Jets and Giants. I purchased these online in mint condition however they were damaged in transit and so I am selling them as they are. The body and base are near perfect with the exception of two paint chip spots on the back under the "00" and at the base of the back foot the gold has a slight chip. The Head sits at a slight tilt may be due to spring inside. The back of helmet has a few cracks coming from the bottom edge going up the back. The Rim along the bottom side of the helmet has some chipping and and is not smooth due to the shipping. I took lots of photos so look at them closely. Will still be a great display piece.
