Great original rare 1960's vintage auto automotive automobile road racing poster. It measures 22" by 34" and has been matted to a heavy solid cardboard backing. It is from the 1964 racing season and celebrates Ford Shelby's domination in the race and reads "Nineteen Hundred And Sixty-Four, Sebring 12 Hour Grand Prix Of Endurance, Overall Finishing Positions, G. T. Classification, 1. Cobra Dave MacDonald / Bob Holbert, 2. Cobra Lew Spencer / Bob Bondurant, 3. Cobra Jo Schlesser / Phil Hill, 4. Ferrari Pedro Rodriguez / David Piper / Mike Gammino, 5. Cobra Harold Keck / Skip Scott, Cobra Powered By Ford, Team Equipped With : Goodyear, Autolite, Geon-Weber, Castrol, Girling, Ferodo, Koni, Micro-Lube, Stewart-Warner, Shelby American, Inc., Venice, California, U.S.A.". It has great graphics of night racing with a rarer Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe # 10 in front of a Shelby Cobra Roadster convertible # 12 race car. The poster print is "signed" by Bartell. The illustrations and graphics show great color and display nicely. The poster must have been folded at on time as t are symmetrical fold lines visible, most likely factory folded. The mounting was done very nicely and possibly professionally. T is some wear, nicks and dings to the edges of the poster as shown, otherwise it is in very good condition. It is sold as is. $8.00 postage.
