"Welcome to Cupcakeland, a magical world where fancy cakes turn into beautiful dolls! Cupcakes hide inside their wrappers 'til it's time to surprise - then out they pop!" Cupcakes were produced by Tonka in 1990 then by Kenner from 1991-93. They were a series of dolls with plastic skirts which when turned inside out transformed into edible goodies with their hats becoming the icing. 1990 Tonka / Kenner Pink Cupcakes Doll Sweetly scented !!! Like a time-capsule……a brand new Pink Cupcake Doll last touched in the early 1990s….20 years ago!! A doll that turns from a beautiful girl into a delicious looking cup cake. She measures a delightful 6” (15cm) Removable Pink dress covered in hearts. Plus removable hat and comb. Never been removed from her box There is a factory-made small hole in the front of the box through which I can smell the delightful scent.
