I am offering for auction; a Vintage A-9 electric countertop Kitchen Aid Coffee Mill, manufactured by The Hobart MFG. Co. in Troy Ohio, mid to early 19 th century, 13 7/8" tall. The Kitchen Aid Coffee Mill is in Excellent Clean near Mint Condition and appears to have been very lightly used, plus works. However, since I am a novice about Vintage appliances of any kind, I will describe the coffee grinder in full detail from top to bottom. First of all, it is beautiful Sage or Jadeite Green, near flawless original paint, but let me start at the top and work my way down. The white metal screw on lid shows some surface wear to the paint but no dints or dings, however, it is on so tight, I cannot unscrew it. From the inside it does not appear to be tight because of rust because t is almost none so I am assuming it is just from being packed away for so many years. The Glass Jar is perfect, with no clouding, chips, cracks, or fleabites. The one thing I am not sure about is the screw that sticks up on the inside (see pic), since I have never seen one of these before in my life and t is nothing to compare to, it just seemed odd. The toggle switch is excellent and toggles up and down with no signs of wear to it or around it. The picture of the model number shows slight wear to the paints finish. Again, the motor runs like a top and the cord does not show a bit of wear or may not ever been completely unraveled. T is some coffee residue in the swinging flap door w the coffee grounds come out. The underneath is marked with all sorts of information, it looks like new also. If you have been waiting for the perfect A-9 Kitchen Aid Coffee Mill to come along, this may be the one you've been waiting for. I have not mentioned, the Coffee Mill is fairly heavy. I very rarely sell items that are "New" and will indicate "New" in my listing description. I like to sell pieces that are at vintage and have an uncommon uniqueness about them, normally purchased through an Estate Auction. I strive to keep the shipping prices down and will do my best to package them to sustain handling. I most often leave feedback immediately after payment is received and believe it is wrong to wait on feedback from the customer. Please email me with any questions you may have or for additional pictures. I would be glad to combine shipping for any of my auctions to save you shipping $.High bidder pays the Actual cost of Shipping with no handling fee, plus optional insurance on most items. International buyers are welcome but shipping will be based on destination. I accept personal checks, money orders or payment through Paypal for faster shipping. Thanks for looking!
