Vintage A&J Eggbeater. (w/jar). Here is a great old EKCO A&J USA upright rotary eggbeater with red wood handle, and a gorgeous vintage heavy glass jar that it is setting in. Most sites would probably call this antique rather than vintage I presume. The eggbeater is in great working condition and good display condition; the jar has some minor scratches and a lot of wear around the upper and lower rims, so I know it was used for this purpose. It also has lots of bubbles in the glass, and has a rayed bottom. It also feels like it is leaded glass. This eggbeater fits very well on this jar, and they look great together. (see the book on Kitchen Depression Glass for similar beaters & jars). This beater likely dates to the 1920-30's, and the glass likely dates to that period and earlier.
