Up for auction we are offering a beautiful vintage Danish enameled sterling pin. The pin is a lovely enameled sterling pansy. The pansy has purple and gold veined enameling. The pin measures 1 ½ inches wide by 1 3/8 inches in length. It is stamped on the back STERLING DENMARK and the marks for A.Michelsen - a major Danish firm and jewelers to the royal court founded by Anton Michelsen in 1841 (from Collectible Silver Jewelry by F. Rezazadeh). A.Michelsen is famous for their enamel work and has employed many of Denmark's finest designers. Very good vintage condition - the enamel shiny and has no chips or cracks. You may wish to give the silver a bit of a polish. This exquisite pansy pin is sure to please - the craftsmanship is outstanding! PayPal, Check, or Money Order.
