Vintage 1950's Acme Sewing Mannequin Dress Form - With Stand & Box

This vintage 1950's Acme dress form is in excellent condition...the cleanest I've ever seen. It comes complete with it's original metal stand & base, and even the original shipping box. (The box has some expected age wear.) The base allows you to adjust for height, with a toggle screw to raise or lower the dress form.

The dress form is a Size A and adjustable. The adjustable measurements are: Bust - 32" - 40", Waist - 25"-32", Hips - 35"-43". The height of the stand adjusts the mannequin from 37" tall (which is with the form against the base) & extends to 57" tall.

Beautifully crafted, the dress form is covered in gray blue tweed knit fabric, with interior metal brackets for adjusting the measurements. The base & center rod are heavy duty steel, with an enameled gray finish. A metal cap & ball finial top the dress form & it is marked with an oval metal Acme tag at the chest. The shipping label on the box is pre zip code and the metal tag on the dressform has a city code, indicating that it was manufactured in the mid to late 50's or early 60's.
