this is a great old industrial strenghth adler out of the 50's .......it sews like a new one everything is tight and it just feels good....i bought it at an estate sale without even looking inside.....it sewed through four layers of this blue jean material with minimal power [slow] with no variation in speed....i have an old heavy duty nechii that i thought couldn't be beat ....but this adler is much better by far....... this machine shows very little ware.......it was well taken care of....when i flipped the machine back to look at the mechanism it had tissue paper in the bottom of the box to protect the wood from an errant drop of oil!!! the model number is 153 A made in western germany and it weighs 47.9 lbs.......i have set a reserve at 199.00 questions or comments welcome thanks...........don
