Hi and THANKS FOR LOOKING!!

Up for your consideration is a truly hard-to-find COFFEE TIN made by the CONTINENTAL CAN COMPANY, CHICAGO . On the front it says:

CONTENTS 5 LBS .

SPECIAL COMBINATION COFFEE

DISTRIBUTED BY

SEARS, ROEBUCK AND CO., CHICAGO.

On the reverse side it states:

ANY GROCERIES YOU BUY OF US THAT DO NOT PLEASE YOU IN EVERY WAY OR THAT YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT SAVED MONEY ON, MAY BE RETURNED TO US AND WE WILL CHEERFULLY RETURN YOUR MONEY AND ANY FREIGHT CHARGES YOU MAY HAVE PAID.

According to my Internet research: The Continental Can Company of Chicago, IL began operations in 1904 .

This coffee tin measures 8Â½Â" high (including the lid) and it has a 7 â...zÂ" top and bottom diameter. It has a wire bail handle. Condition: It has the normal wear you would expect for its age - a few dents and scratches Â- nothing that would deter from the beauty and displaying of it. No rust!!! It even has its ORIGINAL LID!! The lid has some discoloration, hardly noticeable! The stripe and rose design, along with its deep green color, make it extremely attractive!
