As an avid doll collector (clowns and blue bears), I anxiously awaited the arrival of this bundle of fun. When she brought in three boxes and numerous bags overflowing with Steiff animals, Madame Alexander Dolls, Vogue dolls, Toncoss Sturbridge doll furniture, and numerous small babies, toys, and doll house accessories I almost jumped with joy.I love stuffed animals and dolls of any kind. This wonderful assortment of toys impressed me with the quantity, variety, and condition. Lee received most of the items from her parents during childhood. As they traveled frequently to Germany, a plethora of interesting items made their way back across 'the pond'. Barely played with and mostly in pristine condition, she confessed she kept a few of her favorites. She stated, "I just could not see leaving all of these in the attic any longer. They should be appreciated by someone."Eeyore almost looks as if about to loose his footing. His wide stance foreshadows an imminent belly flop to the ground. Constructed of a gray felt body and ears, Eeyore sports an uncharacteristic sewn on smile. His black yarn mane and tail show no signs of wear/balding. Floppy ears covering his eyes and a detachable tail add to his whimsical feel. A great vintage Pooh collectible in pristine condition!
