This is a great piece of American guitar history. This is an Alamo Titan Bass, from the mid-1960's. The neck needs some work, as it needs some straightening. I straightened it a bit myself by turning the truss rod, but I really don't know what I'm doing, so I decided to stop. I have fresh new strings on it, replacing the older ones. The electrics in this guitar all work great, and the bass sounds excellent. It really does. For having only one pickup, it really delivers some punch. It also comes with (though not pictured) a not-quite hardshell, but not quite soft case. Its more like heavy cardboard. And if your band happens to be named the Cavaliers, it's perfect for you, because that's the band name painted on the case! Okay, so you've never heard of Alamo guitars. That's okay, a lot of people haven't. They were a brand made in Texas (of course) from about the late 1950's until the mid-1970's. They made excellent, high-quality amps as well.
