Vintage Amber Globe Canning Glass with Metal Handle May 26, 1886 Excellent condition, but for tiny chip in lid which is barely visible and approximately a millimeter in size, as seen in my photo just below the dime; and but for an even tinier chip in edge of container. The bright spot to the right in the photo of the lid is a bubble in the glass. The bottle and lid have a few bubbles. The opening to the jar has very tiny irregularities as seen in my last photo. Approximately 7 1/2 inches high from bottom to top of metal handle Amber Color with word "GLOBE" on front. Lid has written "Patented May 25 1886" Has numeral "7" on the bottom. Metal handle is intact with even, mild rust. Weighs slightly over a pound, unpackaged, slightly over two pounds, packaged. I will take PAYPAL. I welcome your e‑mails.
