For your consideration is this truly gorgeous vintage goldtone and amber crystal necklace and earring set. The pictures do not do justice to the set; I spent hours trying to capture the brilliance of the stones and mostly failed except for the picture of the earrings somewhat. The necklace is 16" long x 1/2" wide with a row of 73 ridged goldtone squares surrounded on upper and lower sides by rows of rich faceted amber stones of brilliant sparkle; the clasp is a push in type and seals tightly. The clip on earrings are slightly over 1/2" in diameter and have a center faceted stone which comes to a point surrounded by 10 faceted brilliant crystals. T are only two flaws to mar the perfection of this set; the necklace is missing one stone 1/3 of the way up on one side and the earring backs have some wear to the finish or tarnish. The missing stone is almost impossible to detect as the stones are smallish and darker in color; one could replace the missing stone with a stone from the very back of the necklace if desired. The set was purchased many years ago in London by an older woman and is unsigned, but nonetheless, to wear on a glamorous evening out or to dress up any ensemble this necklace will definately stand out.
