This is a beautiful piece of cut glass. The plate is 8" wide and total height is about 5 1/8" tall with the cover being about 4 3/4" tall. I do not know if this is American brilliant, but it is well made. There very few minor flea bites on the cover and plate. The pattern is the same on both pieces so it appears to be a match. There are no cracks and the top rings like a bell. Great for any collection.
