Up for bid is a VINTAGE GILBERT AMERICAN FLYER ELECTRIC TRAIN in it's ORIGINAL BOX. As you can see by the pictures the engine, tender and cars are in very good shape. The silver GULF car is the exception; it's missing one round end cap and the wheels on one end are off (but included). There are many lengths of track included as well, all in good condition. This is the train that I had as a child in the early 1960's. (late 1950's?) It's been put away for 50 years. I'm selling this set as is. I'm no model train expert and I can't test it but I'll try to answer any questions and even send you more pictures if you like. At this time I don't have the Transformer but I might be able to find it. I can't promise but if I find it, I'll include it. I'm charging 18.00 shipping just to get started; (because of the size of the box). I plan to go to the post office to get an accurate shipping amount then I may change cost.
