This is an American Flyer "O" scale - 7 pc set of vintage trains. made by the A.C. Gilbert company, they are 3/16 size. These pieces are dated from between 1950 and 1959. This entire collection belonged to my father who purchased them in the 1950s. They were stored in boxes for over 40 years. My little brother played with many of these in the 1960's. Many of these cars will show the evidence of an 8 year old playing with train cars. These pieces are in fair to poor condition and some could be used as spare parts. T are no tracks, motors, power sources, or accessories, and this set is sold as is. I know nothing about old toy trains and have done my best to identify and describe this set to the best of my ability. The information in the descriptions below was found on various American Flyer and A.C. Gilbert websites. I can tell you if the couplings and wheels are t, the are several sockets or lights, and t appears to be devices that were activated magnetically, but I have no idea if anything works as intended. The pieces are described as follows:Model 343 , ENGINE.... (wheel alignment 0-8-0, AC motor, knuckle coupler, Switcher -Nickel Plate Road - American Flyer Lines and the Metal Tender) The Engine has the entire front missing, and possibly at the back, and t is one screw missing from the wheel linkages, as you can see from the
