This auction is for a delicate and beautifully crafted vintage art glass swan in a great amethyst purple or plum colored glass by Whitefriars England.
Markings: Retains part of its original blue sticker "Whitefriars Made in England" Dimensions: 5 ¾" high, roughly 5" long, 2" wide. Condition: Very good condition. T are some minor surface scratches to the swan's face, only visible on very close examination. T are a few tiny rough spots around the base consistent with age and use. Otherwise she is in wonderful original condition. Please refer to the photos as they form part of our description. This is a lovely and graceful figural glass swan in a great color to add to your collection of vintage Whitefriars art glass figurines, and it would appeal to collectors of Mid Century British, European or Italian art glass. FEEDBACK: Appropriate feedback will be awarded to bidder at the conclusion of the transaction. SHIPPING: Please email me for shipping costs prior to placing a bid. Shipping rates are based on the shipping costs to the destination, plus a handling fee of $2.00. Items will be shipped within 3 days of cleared payment. Insurance is available upon request at an additional cost. INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Accepted method of payment for shipments outside of North America is through Paypal only. International buyers agree to assume responsibility for import duties and to accept events which are beyond our control (including Customs delays) that may result in delivery delays.
