This wonderful old 1930's quilt kit will be beautiful made up. It contains the muslin top, marked for applique placement and quilting lines, the pre-printed fabric to be cut out and appliqued onto the top, binding strips to applique and embroidery thread. The finished design is a lovely basked with flowers and ivy spilling forth. The original bag it came in is included with a picture of the completed quilt in black and white. The kit appears complete, the muslin top is excellent and clean, as are the applique fabrics, doesn't even smell musty. It appears that they have never been unfolded. This kit is fantastic and a wonderful project for someone who wants a mint condition original 1930's appliqued quilt. The quilting lines are even marked for you. I didn't completely unfold the top to measure, it looks untouched, but the instructions call for you to supply a backing measuring 99" x 83". So the finished quilt will be smaller than this. I wish I had the time to finish this myself, but my loss, your gain! Good luck! I have other quilts, tops and blocks on EBay this week, so check them out, I combine shipping! I try to describe my items as accurately as possible, including defects, but sometimes I miss a detail which is important to the collector, so please don't hesitate to ask questions before bidding.
