This auction is for a lot of more than 500 negatives from the late 19th century through the 1930's. The 21 envelopes in pic #2 are all hand written with details of the enclosed negative. They are dated 1898 to 1914. Some of the envelopes are not dated, but appear to be from the same time period. Pics #4 & 6 are examples from those envelopes. The others are just a short summary of what is contained in this lot. There are people and family scenes, pets, holidays, parades, one of which is in San Francisco. There are scenes from beaches, the outdoors, towns, and cities. The condition of this lot is very good. There are a few negatives of fair condition, but most are easily viewed, and usable. Also included are several of the original photo envelopes from various pharmacies of the day including The Owl Drug Co. The condition of most of these envelopes are fair.
