Vintage Antique Art Deco Westminster Chime Mantel Clock Up for bid is a beautiful Art Deco Westminster chime mantel clock. The case is finished in medium mahogany and is in excellent condition. There is a wear mark at the rear bottom of the clock. This does not take away from the clock's appearance in any way. It has a very clean, sharp case that has no crazing. It possesses brocade molding at the bottom and detailed molding at each side. The dial numbers are Roman numerals and the bezel has solid hinge and clasp mechanisms that close tightly. The back door hinges and clasp are solid. The German movement is a pendulum type that is keeping accurate time .The glass has no fading or cracking. Overall, it is a beautiful clock. It chimes progressively each quarter hour as it moves through the hour, and in full Westminster fashion progressively as the hours pass. The chime is deep and resonant and is very nice. It has been oiled and checked in my shop. It measures and 24" long and 9" at its highest point. It is 6 1/2" deep including the bezel. All clocks are tested and functional at time of purchase and possess all necessary parts, including key. PayPal only. No international bids, please.
