VITAL STATISTICS VINTAGE ANTIQUE ASIAN MINIATURE SCRIMSHAW IVORY SCABBARD and SWORD LETTER OPENER NR: C.; 1930's or Earlier, Approx.; Box 6 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4", Sword , MINT Condition, $6 Shipping Continental. We combine. Beautifully Scrimshawed Ivory Scabbard and Stainless Steel? Sword with Ivory Scrimshaw Handle! Not sure of age, but definitely vintage possibly antique! Hard to find Asian Antique from an American collection, not a Chinese seller! Great miniature Letter Opener Sword in a glass fronted box, excellent condition; real glass so you know it's old! Super Scrimshaw in black and red, nice tight lines and no bleeding! Sword handle features a floral display of Peonies! Scabbard displays a pair of swans and the other side a displaying pheasant! Nicely embellished with tassels and metalwork, made with the care and detail only found in vintage and antique craft! They don't make this kind of excellent work anymore! I paid quite a bit for this piece but opening bid is only .99 Cents! A great collectible for Asian and weapon connoisseurs! Rather Sharp Piece! Selling off a bunch of ANTIQUES/COLLECTIBLES!!
