i just aquired this lamp at a gorgeous estate sale on the north shore of Boston, MA..this ocean side estate was chock full of high end century old nautical items and motifs.. this antique & very rare high quality floor lamp came w the shade you see in the images but im not sure if it is original to the lamp so i will be listing it seperately.. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE LAMP ONLY.. THE SHADE IS LISTED IN ANOTHER LISTING # 171205583085 . this is an amazing lamp that i believe to be NOE as in William Noe. a famouse designed/builder of great lamps from the late 1800 through early 1900s.. this is a real beauty w great lines, character and design.. from its highly detailed weathervane style arrow bridge arms to its 3 arrow claw foot cast base. .. this has a fully adjustable swiveling ball socket. this lamp has been in storage for decades and has rich petina adding to its character.. any cleaning or polishing will be left to the buyer.. im not sure if the cord has been replaced but what i can see exposed is in solid usable condition w a very old plug .it has a very heavy crystal/glass slag ball near the base. (a chip on the underside of the crystal ball only visable when you are on the floor or the lamp is on its side) it has a very heavy full cast base. th base is marked in two places..one mark clearlyt "NOE" and the other i think says " read more
