Vintage/antique? collectable Carr & Co Ltd, Carlisle mosaic and rose designed and embossed biscuit tin. The style is very Art Deco but not sure exactly which year it was produced. Good working hinged lid which closes securely although one of the hinges has come slightly loose. Very little rusting to the interior. Amazingly the colour has remained vibrant in greens, yellow, red and gold together with the soft tints of pink to the rose design. No dints or dings. Measures approx 8.25" (L) x 7.25" (W) x 2.25" deep. Original shabby chic.
