Seneca Camera manufacturing company began in circa 1895. This camera was made of mahogany, covered in seal grain leather. Two version were available. Either finished with mahogany wood highly polished and a red bellows, or an ebony finished wood with black bellows. Both had nickel plated brass hardware. It was fitted with a Seneca rapid rectilinera lens and a Seneca Uno shutter with bulb and tube attachment. Features included a rising and falling front, a spring actuated back with ground glass panel for focusing, manual focus, a brilliant view finder that is metal bounded and tripod sockets. This Chautauqua Camera was manufactured in what looks to be 1901 stamp on the lens, camera is in near mint condition with very minor wear. Free shipping for lower 48 states only, more else where.
