I have for auction a set of 5 Vintage Antique Darning Eggs. They are made of egg. The one with the metal band has a patent date of Dec 18 1900. At least two of the darning tools is made of maple. Because of the painting on the others, I do not know the age. These are all sturdy and ready to use or display.
