This is a vintage pressed metal spoon that was used to skim the cream off the top of the old milk bottles in the days when the cream actually separated to the top of the bottle. On the handle of the spoon is clearly stamped, "CREAM TOP Pat Sept.2nd 1924 Mar 3rd 1925". The spoon measures 4"long. It appears worn. I don't like to clean these as the petina adds to the charm of the item.
