Vintage Samsonite Luggage Suitcase Set of Two Lot of two deco Samsonite Suitcases: The Smaller: measures 21" across x 17.5" x 8.5" wide at the base. The interior of the suitcase is green and appears to never have been used. The inside top has a hook on which to hang your travelling garments and a shirred cover that fastens at the top to cover them. The bottom has gatd pockets on both sides and Grosgrain ribbon ties to fasten over the clothes that you place t The Ribbons still have the tailor tacks in them. This looks as though it has not been used, although t are some marks commesurate with age along the one side of the back (see picture). I did not try to remove this as it may not matter to you if it is going to be used as a Display piece or if you prefer your things in original condition! The back has a label which reads: "Samsonite Luggage SHWAYDER BROS. INC., DENVER Style 4651". Both the fasteners on the outside work, but one of the rivets has been replaced. T is no key for the lock, although a luggage shop may be able to get you one that works for this suitcase. The Larger of the two measures: 24" across, 17.5" high and 8" wide at the base.
