Thank you for looking at my auction. For your consideration today is this very old meat cleaver. This one is a real beauty made by Dexter. This is one nice, heavy cleaver and very sturdy. The handle is firm with no movement. It doesnt even appear that the blade has ever been sharpened on this piece. The blade needs some cleaning but what a stunning piece of steel. The blade is 7.25" long and 4.25" at its widest. The overall length is, 13" The cleaver is signed Dexter on the blade and Dexter 5287 on the handle. This is a great, original piece and would be perfect for your collection. I picked this up at an old farm estate along with some other old cleavers. I also obtained some great old knives including some antler handled knives. Check out my other auctions. I list all my items very low. You can grab some great deals on some rare, vintage/antiques.
