Up for auction is an antique well pump, made by F.E. Myers Co., Ashland, Ohio. The name MYERS is cast into the decorative head, and the handle is marked Pat. Jan. 16, 1912. The water spout comes out to the side, at right angle to the handle. The spout has a screw-on cap, held fast with a small chain. I can see no evidence of welds or cracks anyw in the body of the pump. T is a piece broken out of the cut-out fancywork at the top--see close-ups. Pump stands 29" tall, handle is 22". Spout is marked #2328; body of pump #1234; head #2676, handle #2677. Low starting price and no reserve! Domestic shipping is UPS including delivery confirmation and insurance. Payment is due within ten days of auction close.
