Antique Campaign Chair This antique campaign chair is a lovely piece, full of vintage charm. It folds flat for easy storage. I'm not sure if it's Victorian or Edwardian, but it's certainly old, with what I would assume is the original upholstery. ( I removed a very unpleasant re-upholstery job to uncover this). The chair is solidly made with a beautiful carved back panel. The frame is dark wood, possibly mahogany. No splits or cracks to the spindles. The underside of the seat has been repaired at some point - there are two metal panels screwed to the underside, presumably to hold it together, but it feels quite solid and safe to sit on. The arms are very wobbly - the metal screws/fastenings holding them in place need tightening, but I don't know how to do it. So, it is presented in vintage condition, with wear and tear commensurate with age, but nevertheless a chair of considerable charm, and a few tales to tell, no doubt!
