I acquired this in the estate of a 97 year old lady. I know very little about this type of item but will do my best to describe it. It is an old, wooden checker board or game board. It measures about 17-3/4" x 17-3/4". I'm pretty certain the pieces are inlaid. T are diamond and square shapes that decorate the outside edge of the board. I believe they are also inlaid. Some of them are scratched. One of the diamond shapes has lost the top piece. It's not really noticeable unless you really look for it. T is a light scratch across 2 of the squares. The back has a crack but it's not deep and it does not go through. The previous owner put a metal hanger for hanging on the wall. This can easily be removed if you prefer. This is a beautiful game board. Please read my winning bidder requirements before bidding and bid only if you agree to my terms.

U.S. winning bidders will be responsible for shipping/handling fee (quoted flat rate shipping/handling fee does not include Alaska and Hawaii, please e-mail for quote). If insurance is desired or required, it will be an extra $1.35 for up to $50.00. I accept U.S. money orders and checks (up to but not over $50.00 on checks only). Some checks will have to clear the bank before shipment is made depending on buyers feedback and/or check number. If, for any reason, your check is returned, buyer will have to reimburse me the amount of check and bank fees. I do not accept Paypal with no exceptions. I need to hear from winning bidder within 2 days after auction ends, payment must be received within 10. Otherwise, item will be re-listed and non-payment proceedings will be filed with Ebay. I do not ship on Saturday. I do take special care to pack my items safely. However, I have had items arrive at my home that looked like they had been run over by a truck. Tfore, I highly suggest you purchase insurance. I am not responsible for items once they leave my hands. If you have any questions, please e-mail me as I am not an expert at anything I sell. The items I sell are mostly antique, vintage, and collectible. Please have reasonable expectations. Most are old, used, not perfect and sometimes dirty. I try to describe things well and to make sure that the photos are good. Please keep in mind that condition and descriptions are relative to a persons point of view and despite my best intentions, I may miss something. Please ask questions if you are confused or unsure. I will combine items, if you win more than one of my auctions, for cheaper shipping rate, unless items are very heavy or very breakable. Please ask first.
