It is very ornate, with flowers, leaves and more flowers, more leaves, more flowers. OK, you get the picture. It also has a very nice felt backing. I picked this up at an estate sale, so although I know it is fairly old, I'm not sure, how old. I will leave that up to you experts. The frame size is: 13 3/4" X 11 3/4" The inside dimensions are: 9 1/2" X 7 12".
