You are bidding on a OLD PICTURE in a METAL Frame + Bubble Convex Glass! This Picture is of a young girl saying her prayers. She is lovely and is wearing her nightgown. The frame is metal - I really don't know of what type. MEASUREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS for the overall measurements of frame: 13 inches tall + 10.5 inches at the largest points. THE GLASS + PICTURE MEASURE approximately: 8.5 inches tall + 6.5 inches wide at the largest points. I purchase this picture along with several other that I will be listing shortly at an estate sale. I really don't know anything about the portriat or the frame. I took the backing off to see if t was anything written on the picture, but t was no markings on picture or maker of frame. The picture and frame look dusty, but no damage anyw that I see. I don't even know the age of the picture or frame, but it appears to be an antique. The glass is a bubble glass - not flat. I assume if you are bidding on this picture, that you know far more about this than I do. If any ebayers have any information on this item - I will be more than happy to add it to the listing. The frame looks like a guilded gold finish. The picture is held in frame with gold colored staples that go through the metal frame and into the felt backed cardboard to hold the picture in place.
