VINTAGE ANTIQUE PUREX AMBER OLD GLASS BOTTLE CUP MOLD Description: A beautiful amber and rainbow oxidized Purex old glass bottle would be a fine addition to your antique bottle collection. This classic was created sometime between the 1850s and 1920s. Cup mold seams run down each side of the bottle and extend from below the edge of the "heel" base up to the lip. "Purex" manufactured embossed lettering is on the body of the bottle, along with "Bottle Design Patent Pending" on the edge of the base. "Purex" is also embossed on the bottom along with a small circle with the letter "L" and the numbers "81". The bottle has no chips or cracks but t are a few light scratches. It stands 7 1/2" tall and is 3" in diameter at the base. The rainbow coloring comes from the oxidation of the amber glass. It is a fine piece and will make a wonderful addition to any bottle collection.
