** *R AILRO AD L IG HT /L ANTE RN* ** This auction is for a fantastic vintage antique Railroad Light/Lantern . This is a Large lantern measuring approximately 18 1/2" Tall and 7 1/2" Wide and weighs just over 7# . Pictures taken in direct sunlight to show exact color and beauty of piece. Door freely opens for lighting candle inside. Glass globe over candle is in perfect condition. Some surface rusting to metal in places but overall still in very nice condition for age. Maker is unknown...only thing I can find embossed on one side if 08 over top of 88. May have been from Germany. GREAT vintage piece for the Railroad enthusiast!! It is sold "AS IS" so please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
