Unbelievable 1920-1940 Vintage Antique Chaise Lounge ( Adjustable Chair with Built-In Ottoman ) This was handed down to me. I've taken it to two (2) antique dealers in town and both asked me if I would sell to them. When I asked for information as to "make" they would not provide except for the era. They would only disclose additional information if I would consign with them. Anyone who knows of this piece please share what you know. I am, however, aware that it is probably worth well over $1000 as I was offered $400 from a reseller and $500 already on EBAY during this listing period. So any offer will have to be better and consider the EBAY listing/selling fees and Paypal fees I will incur. As for the condition, it was pretty dusty with some scuffs so I cleaned it with light wood oil/cleaner to restore some luster. In fact, the wicker is orginal but looks 100X better after treating. There are a couple small frays on the backside but not noticeable and very sturdy. BTW, this has to be one of the most comfortable pieces I have ever lounged in. The workmanship is amazing and must be seen to appreciate. This piece is a one-of-a-kind and you will not find another. The seat back is adjustable for the perfect incline/decline AND the ottoman slides out from underneath and tucks away neatly in rattan glides when not using. Simply Amazing!!! Find a porch with a view, grab a book and start sippin' a mint julep for the best in R&R .
