You are considering a very special pair of antique shoe clips/buckles which I believe probably date to somew between 1900 and the 1920s. They are an unusual pair in that the paste stones are not all clear, but include wonderful ruby colored stones. The stones do show some color variance due to age, but are in nice sparkling condition with none missing. If you look very closely, you can see some chips to some of the ruby colored stones, but this certainly is not noticeable to the naked eye and does not detract from their beauty in the least.
