I am not an expert on weapons so I may not use the right terminology so please feel free to ask questions. On the blade near the guard is stamped " Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. Solingen". Right above that on the top of the blade is stamped a star and on the bottom of the blade is the number 2. There is a design on the guard that says " Estados Unidos OO Brasil 15 deNov de1889". I was told that loosely translates to "To Stay Together Brazil". On the bottom of the guard is stamped " M2". From the pictures you can see that the handle is not wrapped and this listing does not include a scabbard. Over all length is about 39" and the blade is about 1 1/8" tall. The blade and guard both have rusty surfaces. The blade is straight with only minor nicks on the edge. The bottom of the guard is slightly bent.Please refer to the pictures and ask any questions you may have.
