~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ ~*~This buy it now is for this beatufiul, 100% hand-woven roll of antique/vintage European hemp/linen roll measuring ~*~( 13.8 yards) 41.6 feet long by 21.25 inches wide (12.7 meters by 54cm) ~*~* If you are looking for a textile, that will last for 200 years, this is your textile!~*~ This Wonderful wonderful roll is a beautiful twill weave ~ the most lovely thick weave, with quite a lovely rustic appeal~ This roll has a stunning grey/cream side with an amazing and rare twill weave. The other side is the darker side and is the reverse of the twill, both sides are wonderful and very unique!!! The dark side is a BEAUTIFUL flaxy brown tone FULL of natural linen tonal variations, a really stunning textile~ the twill, paler side has a lovely look with beautiful surface texture~*~ perfect for single or multiple projects! ~*~ ~*~ it is a really wonderful textile treasure. these heavy weight rolls make the most amazing upholstery fabric and are amazingly durable, beautiful texture ~*~* I am able to match longer yardage pieces of this textile should one require more yards for a large project as my backstock is vast, please email me with any questions~*~ Perfect for slip covers, coverlets, blankets, lamp shades, curtains, upholstery, runners, tablecloths, napkins, clothing....you name it! It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen ~*~ These rolls are 100% machine washable, on 40 or 60 celcius..if t is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and t is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect). Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage ( I always list the content so if it doesn't . These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! New Hemp can be soaked in water for 3 days and then washed on regular cycle to soften or one can use liquid fabric softener if desired. Most of my rolls don't tend to need any additional help with softening as they have a lovely texture as is~ The average age of these rolls is about 100 years old, they are wonderful textile treasures~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~ All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers.
