You are buying a great, very hard to find and antique set of three metal large finnial type of decorative accent items. I beleive they are white brass because they are very heavy, all three weigh a total of 2.5 pounds and the metal tests non-magnetic. The screws in the bottom have a flat head screw driver slit and all completely screw out. I am certain they did not go to lamps because of their size and weight. What they went to is a mystery. They look like a pineapple in a way, but the bottoms have a floral type of leaf that goes up to a pine cone kind of design. Another mystery... I can not find any markings, symbols or names or numbers anywhere on these. They each measure 2.5" wide at their widest point by 4" tall. See pictures. These rare finds are in good shape for their age. I see nothing to describe as wrong with the three of these. They were found in an older Kentucky estate. This makes a great gift idea or perfect addition to any collection! A must have for any decorative antique accent metal ware collector.
