VINTAGE/Antique Wood Carved Hand Carved DEVIL BOOKENDS

You are bidding on a very old pair of wood bookends coming straight from an estate sale. T is the Devil's face and the face of an unknown, it looks like a pirate but I'm not sure. The heads are both wood carvings that were placed into the oval opening of a block of wood. I think it is mahogany, but I'm not sure. The heads were stained with a dark stain. Some of the staining has worn off due to age. The bookends measure approximately 7" tall (one is slightly taller than the other) by 5 1/2" wide. I was told by the lady that she has had them for around 50 years. The base of the bookends is copper and both have felt bottoms. Both are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!
