One of two Stunning vintage applique quilt tops I have listed on Ebay, , "American Beauty Bouquet", stunning applique rose bouquets, in good condition, at no reserve., purchased at a local Knox Co, Ohio estate sale.
The all cotton rose quilt top has no holes, no repairs, never been washed, no fade, vivid colors, some light yellowing on w it was folded, One corner flower bud is not completed (see picture). The applique quilt top is entirely nicely done hand stitching, is marked off for quilting, measures 96" by 81". The OTHER quilt top is stamped "8-9013 Lee Wards Elgin . Ill. 100% cotton". - this top is unmarked. It has a beautiful rose design on the top, small sprays of roses across all sided, including the pillow top. The roses are varied colors of pink to rose, leaves are varied colors of green, all tied together with a two toned gray bow. My pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the quilt top. I was unable to take pictures of the entire applique quilt top. This quilt top is SLIGHTLY darker pink than than the mate , has green stems - other quilt top has dark brown. I also have listed on Ebay and will combine shipping. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. Good luck bidding!
