This is a real treasure! A wonderful vintage Alphabet baby quilt cover with appliqued squares. It is 53" x 36". It has a row of snaps across the inside bottom. Some light storage stains and a few small frayed areas to backside. From what I understand, each quilt square was from a pattern cut out of the newspaper during the 1930's. The last XYZ square has an embroidered signature and 2 dates, 1938 and 1959. I don't know the significance of the two dates. Each appliqued square is done perfectly. I have shown close ups of a few. Applique work is hand stitched. Seams are most likely machine stitched. Comes to you in nice clean condition with no smoke odors, etc. See my other auctions if interested in more great vintage quilts I will be listing.
