Up for auction is a set of arcopal dishes and bowls. I think the pattern number is 2553 Trianon. It is a swirl design with scalloped edges and no trim. However the color looks more like an ivory or off white. The set consists of the following: 1. 6 - large plates measuring about 9 3/4 in. in diameter and is about a 1/2 in deep. The plates have the word "arcopal" and a picture of an archer down on one knee with the word "France" under the figure. 2. 6 - medium plates (might be considered a shallow bowl) measuring about 8 3/4 in. in diameter. and about 3/4 in. deep. These plates have the same words and design on the bottom as the above listing. 3. 6 - small plates measuring about 7 3/4 in. in diameter and about 1/4 in deep. Same design on bottom as above. 4. 6 - saucers measuring about 5 in. in diameter with the raised words "arcopal France" and the number 47 on the bottom. 5. 6 - small cups (goes with the saucers) about 2 1/2 in. tall and 3 in. across (may be tea cups?). The wording is same as saucers with the number 50 on the bottom. 6. 6 - egg cups standing about 2 1/4 in. tall and about 1 3/4 in. accross. On the bottom is the word "France" each cup has a different number and are as follows: "2" "3" "5" "17" two of them are difficult to read might be a "20" and "8". 7. 1 - small bowl standing about 2/ 1/4 in high and about read more
