I absolutely LOVE this doll! She reminds me of Shirley Temple, but without the dimples. She stands a whole 20" tall, and is made of all composition. She is marked only "Nancy" on the back of her head. She has beautiful blue sleep eyes and soft lashes. Her face looks great- painted lashes, eyebrows full, slight color to cheeks, and bright lips. In her open mouth are a couple of little teeth. She is flat footed, and I was able to pose her without a doll stand. There are no cracks or breaks, but there is some paint loss throughout her body (see all photos). She wears a brown wig that is styled in big ringlets all around her face and head. She is dressed in a pink satin slip and panties (I did not remove it fully, as it must have been stitched together while it was on her-it cannot come off without cutting it). Over this, she wears an off-white satin wedding type gown with a train going down the back. Her outfit is made complete with some white silky socks and cute little off-white shoes, of which the button is missing for the strap on her right shoe. An easy fix! The 90 year old woman I bought her from used to sew all of her dolls' clothes, so I believe she made this whole outfit specific for this doll- I do not think it is the original outfit the doll came in from the store.
