Hi everybody! Gungirly's auctions have changed just a little bit so please read the fine print. I've started the summer off with a BANG & have LOTS of wonderful goodies to list! Offered for auction is a vintage art deco era Egyptian Revival celluloid lady's belt. This belt is awesome, Vampy, 20's chic! The LARGE center plaque is mounted with a silver over brass 3 dimensional Cleopatra bust. T are several other egyptian ladies dispersed thru out the belt along with wonderfully multi-colored celluloid segments. This fabulous belt measures 41 1/2" INCHES long from end to end and is meant to be worn low slung on the hips with the tassel hanging down medievel style or Maxfield Parrish style. The center disk is quite LARGE and measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". The celluloid links measure 2" x 7/8" and the smaller lady busts measure 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". The metal pieces are silver tone over brass and the raised points on the lady figures show slight wear. 2 of the celluloid segments have some damage but other than that this belt is quite magnificent!
